2008 CUNY Washington, D.C. Internship Program

CUNY offers its own summer internship program in the nation's capital. The 2008 CUNY Washington, D.C. Internship Program runs from early June to the end of July. CUNY Washington, D.C. Internship students work full-time at their placements and are provided with a $2000 stipend to offset their living costs. CUNY also covers housing costs.

The recruitment, selection and placement of Washington interns is undertaken by the Program office, along with faculty members from CUNY’s senior colleges. It is a highly competitive and intensive program that offers CUNY students the opportunity to work in the offices of U.S. Representatives and Senators, congressional committees, federal agencies, and at a variety of national and international non-governmental organizations.

You can visit the Program’s web page on the on the ETR Website: www.etrinternship.org/html/washington.htm to download an application or students can visit their Campus Faculty Coordinator (CFC) or a designated liaison for an application. All applications should be submitted to CFCs no later than April 4. Placements for this program are limited.

Once again, we are pleased to offer this unique learning opportunity. If you have questions please feel free to contact us.
